Jon is a pioneering force in ambulatory surgery center (ASC) development and medical real estate transactions. Since 1984, he has provided expert advisory services for over 500 physician-owned practices and facilities, including ASCs, GI endoscopy centers, heart centers, and surgical hospitals. His expertise spans valuations, strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, and the development of innovative sale-leaseback strategies.
As founder of SurgiCenter Development Corporation (SDC), Jon guided the development of 90 ASCs nationwide. He later founded Endoscopy Center Affiliates (ECA), establishing 20 successful endoscopy center partnerships. As Executive Vice President of Development for Cardiovascular Ventures Inc. (CVI) from 1995 to 1997, he expanded his expertise into specialized cardiac facilities.
Jon has authored many articles for Becker’s ASC Review and other ASC-related periodicals and made presentations on development, valuation and execution of practice and facility transactions. He has also served as an expert witness on ASC valuation issues.
